True Public Servant
For more than 30 years, I have dedicated my life to serving others and giving back to the community of Denham Springs. My service has included 16 years in the fire service as a firefighter, lieutenant, captain, safety and training officer, commissioner, and President of the Board of Commissioners. Beyond public safety, I have spent years serving in youth and men’s ministries, scouting, and civic involvement because I believe leadership begins with serving others. Public service is not just something I do — it is who I am.
Real Experience
Professionally, I spent 39 years in industry specializing in electrical power systems, controls, and automation. My career provided extensive experience in project management, workforce development, critical thinking, budgeting, and solving complex operational challenges. During my final ten years with ExxonMobil, I served as an Electrical Subject Matter Expert, where I provided technical electrical support, electrical safety leadership, and regulatory compliance support across the organization. I also served six years as Union Vice President during my tenure with ExxonMobil. In this role, I worked to improve workforce development by investing in employees, helping build a stronger and more successful company.

In 2023, I served on Livingston Parish President Elect Randy Delatte’s transition team. I wrote the transition plan we used when he took office. I worked for President Delatte for the first year and a half as his chief of staff and played key roles in the development of the Master Plan and the Drainage Master Plan as well as many other key initiatives.
Real Leadership
Throughout my time in industry and my time in the fire service, I have served in many leadership roles, including; project management, emergency response, labor negotiations, developing training programs, regulatory compliance, and much more.

As your City Councilman and during my time with the Parish President’s office, I have worked hard to lead with integrity, accountability, and accessibility. I believe leadership means showing up, listening to people, and working together to find real solutions. I have built strong working relationships across city, parish, state, and federal leadership while remaining focused on the needs of our citizens.
Denham Springs is at an important point in its future, and I believe we need leadership that combines vision, preparation, and proven experience to strengthen infrastructure, support public safety, encourage economic growth, and preserve the character of the community we all love.
